How do I know if my turtle is affected by this recall?

Please check the batch number of the item.  This is printed on the underside of the base of the turtle. If the batch number is 0183/24, the turtle needs to be recalled.  If it has another batch number, the product is not affected by the recall. Note: Always check the batch number imprinted on the product NOT on the presentation box it came in.

What do I have to do if my turtle needs to be recalled?

Please remove the turtle from use immediately and put out of reach of children.  Phone or email Play Imports for information about what needs to happen next.

Do I have to return the turtle?

The turtle will need to be destroyed. Please contact Play Imports to arrange the return.  Play Imports will pay for all postage costs associated with the return.

How do I get my refund?

Once the product has been returned, Play Imports will provide you with a full refund or, if you prefer, an alternative item to the same value.

Can I take the item back to the shop where I purchased it and get a refund there?

Yes, if it is more convenient. You will need to contact us first so we can organise this.

I was given this item as a gift. What do I do?

Please remove the turtle from use immediately and put out of reach of children.  Contact Play Imports to discuss your preference for either a full refund or an alternative toy to the same value that will be sent to you free of charge.  The Turtle will still need to be destroyed.
